THE 25,000 TOUCHES CAMPAIGN!

In Matthew 25, Jesus tells a powerful story about God’s Judgment, it is the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats.The sheep and the goats were both judged by God according to how they cared for God’s people.  God said something to them that is the driving thought behind The 25,000 Touches Campaign: 

42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,
43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

We are in a Campaign to Touch 25,000 people with small acts of love and kindness because we know that when we truly touch the lives of others, we are touching the heart of God. From giving away free bottles of cold water and freeze pops, washing cars and mowing lawns for free, cleaning the streets of our community, offering free babysitting services, to caring for the infirmed and the elderly of our city; we are touching people with God’s love.  Mother Teresa was correct when she said:  “Small Acts Of Kindness Done With Great Love Can Change The World.”
